Heather & Jonathan

Aren't these kids cute? They got married the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Heather's parents home....it's gorgeous by the way! It was neat to watch Jonathan's expressions as the day went on - he wears his love for Heather on his sleeve! They are expecting a baby girl (maybe on my birthday!) and I'm looking forward to meeting little Natalie!

Fox Family

I took my sister along for this shoot to help with the kids and wouldn't you know it...she knew them! Being a hairstylist (Rosa Crain, the Style Room, downtown LS 816-678-8151...she's the best-call for your next appt!) she knows a LOT of people here in LS so I wasn't that surprised.
These guys were so cute and so much fun even though it was a bit breezy and chilly. Thanks, Tammy, for all the referrals!

The Smith's

LOVED this family photo shoot. Bekah's soon-to-be-husband was along for moral support and stood behind me the entire shoot cracking me up. This family was willing to do whatever it took to get a cute shot. I've actually known these guys since I was practically in diapers but it was so fun to get to know them better from behind my lens!

Jess's Family - is she a twin?

Ever met anyone that was the exact twin of someone else you know...but when you ask they don't have a clue who you are talking about? That happened to me at this shoot. Jessica (the mom) looked, talked and acted exactly like a friend from my past...so much so, that I had to ask! My husband and sister saw the pics and totally agreed with me. Crazy.
Anyways, this family was the CUTEST!!!! They also met me in downtown LS and were such good sports as we walked many blocks. How cute are their kids? Looking forward to shooting these kids as they grow up!

Connie's fam

Met this family at Unity on a perfect fall afternoon. The leaves were falling and colorful, the sun was out and the temp couldn't have been better. We had fun traipsing all over the grounds of Unity getting all kinds of shots!

The Wagner Family

So it's been forever since I've posted, so I'm gonna post a couple today. Few weeks back I met this fun family of 4 in downtown LS for a duo shoot...family pics and Sam's 4th bday pics. He was such a cute little guy and did great having some shots done.

Jake - the football stud

I shot Jake's senior pics at the same time as Alex...the boys have known each other for a while. Jake is the star quarterback at LS West and has such an easy-going personality! I loved his laid-back style and willingness to head to a muddy field just to get a cool shot! Good luck this season, Jake!

Alex - all grown up

I met Alex and his family a couple years ago when I did their family shots. He is now a senior at LS West and all grown up! He is a great kid with an amazing smile. He seriously made me smile every time he did! His mom wants him to model for A&F...I think she might be on to something. Alex is headed to State in swimming in a couple weeks - go get 'em man!!!

Brooke

Although Brooke has her own blog, she is my most photographed subject and so from time to time she will probably make her appearance on this blog! :-) I caught her this morning in some awesome light from her bedroom window.

Christian's Sr. Pix & cool car!

This past Saturday, I met part of the Harris family. Christian was a cool guy with a very cool car! We started in my studio and moved out to Unity to finish up. Although it was unseasonably hot, Christian was a great sport as we walked all over Unity looking for "the perfect shot for him!"

WT Bears & Co.

Couple of weeks ago, I hooked up with a family that is starting a gemstone and fine jewelry store in downtown LS. We walked all over downtown LS taking pics for their marketing pieces as well as to place on the walls of the store. They were all so much fun and so easy to shoot!
